  • Where can I find Herd Outerwear?  In CLT I saw a lot of fans wearing winterish jackets.  Last home game, Glenn?s nor the stadium bookstore had anything.

You may want to try Drug Emporium up by the mall they did have a large selection of herd
Outerwear. Also, I have actually bought a couple
Of herd coats at Fruth Pharmacy

  • The Kroger in Barboursville has Herd jackets and knit caps etc on a stand near the Starbucks inside.  Not sure what's left.  It's been a couple weeks.

  • Yep. Drug Emporium seems to be the king of Herd outerwear.

my current heavy coat, when i bought it a couple yrs back, i searched far & wide everywhere i knew to look for an mu heavy coat (i've seen people wear 'em around, probably 15-20 yrs old from looks of 'em), & came up empty.  i did both sporting good stores, both bookstores, drug emporium, searched the internet extensively, found nothing.  found lots of light jackets, pullovers, etc., but i was looking for something that would at least keep me thawed when it was in the 20s & 30s.  yada yada yada i have a blue coat now.  i came to the conclusion nobody makes marshall winter coats anymore.

i did NOT think to look at fruth, so i can't speak for them.  but from my experience, there's nothing MARSHALL out there anywhere that's gonna keep you decently comfortable once you start talking 40s & below.

  • Layers, my man, layers.  The outer shell is the only one that needs to say you are a Herd fan.

A couple of years I asked management at Glen's and Hometown about heavy Herd winter coast like the ones we used to get in the Donnan era. I was told that they have searched all over and have no vendor that makes them.

We've been buying MU gear for all seasons for so long that when I peel my layers everyone of them still is a Herd garmit.  Hehe....

But I agree, layers are great. If you look at what folks in really cold places do, it's all about the layers.

  • My kids were competitive swimmers.  They had great Parka's to wear, like what the you see on pro teams on the sidelines.
They were purchase with the Team name and the child's name embroidered on them.

Yeah I lived in Alaska for almost a decade and Fairbanks for a couple years.  You have to be able to add and subtract layers because if you sweat and soak your clothes and then it gets real cold it can cause hypothermia.   Good, wicking artificial material undergarments makes all the difference and you will not get cold and any sweat gets evaporated out.
