Tonight is the kind of stat line we have to have from Beyers. 5-9 from the floor, 13 points, 3 rebounds, 3 steals, 1 assist but the real big one 1 TURNOVER! That's what we need consistently from Beyers.

Obinna right now is our best player, he learns to finish a few of those easy ones and he scores 25 tonight.

Can we talk about how big of a factor Obinna is on both ends of the floor. Have we had as good an all around player under Dan? Can you imagine how dominant he will be as a senior if he continues his growth.

Second... I'm not sure what happened to George but he has found the focus he has been missing. I'm so happy to see him excelling and being an impact player.

I love this team this year. If we can improve down the stretch like DD teams usually do, watch out!

Obinna playing at a high level.  Team played well in the second and was fun to watch.  I think the defense has improved as well.  Still like Obinna coming off the bench, he really adds energy in that roll and seems comfortable with that.  Early may be coming on a bit as well.   Go Herd!

Well Ill tell ya what , Im wanting a Herd win , Im always expecting a Herd win , BUT , I dont think its going to happen. I usually dont think we will lose a game but this ones going to be tough . If we do get beat , I hope ita respectable , who knows , we may play pretty good on the road .

Can I point out that Louisiana hit the transfer portal very hard?  Not only that, they picked up some guys that would be considered "big time recruits".  One of those guys was a former McD All-American.  DD has been slammed for poor recruiting,  for not going the transfer route and we just beat them handily with our guys and a true freshman playing big minutes.

The defense from the Herd in the 2nd half was some of the best defense we have played in a decade!

Except they can't hit them, but by God they'll shoot 50% from 3 against us. Unreal how these teams get hot against us, and can't throw it in the ocean in the games before or after.

Switched and put Kinsey on the kid on fire and he shut him down. Byers is a turnover and mistake machine.
