  • Jerry Palm of CBSsports.com has the Herd and Kent playing out in Texas (Ft. Worth?).  That certainly should "stir the masses".

However, they also have WVU and Maryland meeting in a bowl.  They played early in the regular season.  So take these match ups for what they're worth!

Yeah, they got to get that bowl filled early for travel, teams got to get passports to go to it.

  • How about the Beef O'Brady bowl? That was a top one, if you remember.

  • Actually liked that bowl in St Pete's vs FIU.  Had some star power on the field and Herd made great plays all game on both sides of the ball.  And everyone thought that TY and the FIU squad would win easily.

Enjoyed the one there, also, when we beat UConn.  Indoor ML baseball facility, IIRC.  Not a great amount of O, but Herd played fairly well.

Believe Boca Bowl would give a lot of our players the opportunity to play at home.  Not sure yet if Coach Huff will emphasize South Florida as much as Doc did.

That has been a great bowl destination. We?ve had so much fun on that trip.

  • MTSU bitching about the Bahamas bowl.  Imagine what they would have thought about Detroit in the winter every single year while their team was winning 10+ games.  I would have loved a trip to the Bahamas in 1999 barring a BCS bowl.  Whole island would have been green.

And pre-911 and pre-COVID.  Super easy to get there.
