I probably wouldn't expect much until Sunday.

The playoffs are much more up in the air than usual going into championship week so they'll need to wait for the trickle down effects to shake out.

Kind of odd that only a couple of bowls have been announced to this point.  Glad we're not going to the Bahamas, and really hoping a trip to Hawaii isn't in our future, can see no good from that trip for MU at all.

Unless something screwy happens, the Mt. West will fill the remaining spot in Hawaii.  Memphis is already in, and I don't think they want 2 eastern teams in that bowl

Just because you can't afford to go. That does not mean it does MU no good! Exposure on the West Coast will do MU good.

I've came to the conclusion that if the Herd is gonna play a g5 in a bowl game I'm in preference of it being a Mountain West team. Like stated above western exposure. Also it's interesting seeing games against teams that haven't and will probably never be on the schedule.

Been in the MAC, pretty much been in conference with all the AAC, and now leaving CUSA for Sunbelt. I say if Marshall can't get a P5 match up take the MWC one.

I may be in the minority, but fingers crossed for the Myrtle Beach Bowl. It?s a 2 hour drive for me. If I can?t have that one, my in-laws live in Boca Raton, so a cheap flight and free accommodations would suit me as well.

Agree.  Odds against the HERD from the get go.  Bowls usually considered to be a neutral site clash.  MB Bowl nice for HERD fans; not so much for the team against a foe on their home field.  Another opponent in MB would be a different story, and much better for MU, IMO.

If I were a coastal fan, I?d be pissed. How boring. I enjoy traveling to other locations. Heck, we even had fun in Detroit all those back to back years.

As a Marshall fan it?s not the bowl I would choose but based on an up and down, inconsistent season, I?d take it!
