Jackson State, that brings back memories. Jackson State came to Htown to play The Herd in a first round 1-AA playoff game in 1995. The Herd won 38-8. I seem to remember Jackson State talked a good game, not sure. Jackson State is 0-12 in the playoffs.

They came to Huntington recently for a basketball game and lost.  Believe they are now 1-5 or so.  Clearly they "make" their athletic budgets by being the sacrificial lamb for a lot of larger programs.  Or being the one team in the Global tournament that plays everyone else on the road (Indiana, MU, Louisiana, etc.).
