Poor rotation in helping out in our man to man D.  On O, Herd seems to act like it doesn't know how to attack their zone.   While they, on other hand, are having NO problem with our renown "man to man" D!

Tribble, a sophomore, averages 5 ppg., but already has 10.  Ah, another player apparently heading for a career record, perhaps, against "Hillbilly Ball"!

Killing us in the paint but I doubt we make any defensive changes.

Defense was not good in the first half. Way too many easy buckets. Trimble hitting, I believe, 3 threes hurts on doubling down from the guard position. Need to really step up in second half.

Per Herd radio guy, Steve Cotton, except for 2 games against mighty Point Park and Wheeling Univ., the ZIPS are averaging a "lofty" 55 points a game.

Tonight, they almost have that (49) at the half!

Right behind the Herd bench and yup can?t stop their guards. Dan yelling at the guys to stop going over screens.

Overall, bad defense. Can't blame it on the bigs alone. Guards are not playing well either on the defensive end. John Groce is a good coach. It may not have worked out at Illinois, but he was successful at Ohio before he went there. He has definitely figured Marshall out for this game. Hope the team comes out with more intensity and that fire in their belly to play tough defense and work together on both ends of the court.

Extended minutes for a guy who obviously needed a redshirt.  Actually 2 guys but we needed one of them for the rotation.

Put us in a first half hole. I wonder if DD is actually trying to win OOC road games and have always wondered this.

Braun looking pretty good though. AT has lowered the arc on his shot and is a real threat to score now. Beyers is working hard on D, if he gets beat on a play it is not for lack of effort.
