y'all don't have any issue with society requiring you to PROVE that you're NOT sick to go somewhere?

& it blows your all's minds how someone could see that as an erosion of their personal freedom?

Also, I guess you could also make that argument for public buildings. A private property can tell people they can?t wear a red hat or they?re trespassing. I don?t have a problem with that.

I totally agree with you Milton.  I just don?t see how ?not doing what you want to do? as a response makes any sense.  Stay home, don?t go where u want, don?t do what you want to do ?seems counter intuitive to enjoying freedom.  In any case I choose fun.  The rest u take care of at voting booth.

i was educated in public school back when we weren't terrified to do it in person, i went to college in physical classrooms w/o masks on, i was a healthcare worker until i retired, i've walked in daycares, & i've been to several nursing homes...i've checked all those boxes at 1 time or another in my life, & i've walked thru the doors of all of 'em without needing to prove i wasn't sick.

Some public schools have required vaccine records as early as 1850, but it became a standard practice in 1922. Whether you remember it or realized it, your folks turned in your vaccine records for you to be allowed in schools.

I was afraid this thread would go off the rails when the purpose was to just fans know what the requirements are.

I am ok with whatever a person chooses for themselves.  There has been an abundance of misinformation  and lack of knowledge throughout this entire issue.  The one thing I do know is that it is never going away in my lifetime.  The flu has been around and this is no different.  Look at the number of different flu strands.

There is not a cure and if anyone chooses to look under the covers they would see that the country?s with the most restrictions did not curb the transmission or cases.  I choose not to wear a face diaper as it has been 2 years now.  I am respectful of others.

I?m saying spitting in a tube or picking my nose with a cotton swab is such an incredibly reasonable and simple thing to do, that it is not worth barricading myself inside my house and missing things I enjoy to prove some kind of point.

I agree. My comment was kind of just a general comment about what you are discussing in the bigger picture. Negative test for the game isn?t a big deal to me.

There's no mask like you want. It doesn't require a Vax. You just need to show you aren't sick.

I don't care if you get vaccinated or not. To each their own. I believe in personal freedom. If a private business wants to require these mandates then I 100% support their freedom as private individual business owners. I won't patronize their business, but I will support their freedom to do things that I disagree with.

When government entities/municipalities start to mandate these things, that's a totally different situation and that needs to be stopped in its tracks. It's unconstitutional for countless reasons.

Have fun and safe trip for anyone who goes, but I'm not giving in to the "show us your papers" gestapo's that have popped up all across the country.

Until recently, only WV and MS required vaccines for public schools. I'm pretty sure CA now requires it too....outside of that, no other state requires it.

WV, MS, CA, CT, NY, and ME are the only states that do not have legislation that allow for religious or philosophical exemptions. I was trying to be nice to you, but you are a clueless know it all. Every state but WV, MS, and now CA, also allow for religious exemptions. So with the stroke of a pen all of those little codes you just threw out become null and void.

So as I said.... Only WV and MS have REQUIRED (with no exemptions) vaccines to attend public schools. CA is now added to the list.

You are 100% not even close to accurate in your statement. A half truth isn?t the truth man. Sure, the three you mention are correct, what about the other 4? (Albeit one of them only allows exemption for childcare facilities, not schools).
