  • If Marshall can get more aggressive on the boards and defend Forest, they have a shot at a win.

Keep in mind FAU leads the East 3-2 and also beat WKU.

I didnt realize how mediocre WKU is doing until I looked at the standings . Yes theyre alot better than us but with their lineup , they should be at the top of the standings .

Well, Goran is doing a pretty good job of imitating a wooden Indian on the defensive end of the floor!  ;)

No they arent but it was a better game than what I thought it was going to be . I did like it when DD put the younger guys on the court in the first half.

TK played bad at the end of the game

  • Got it down to about 7 but then 3 straight Herd misses with no rebounds!  This team is atrocious as a team when it comes to shooting; and they ALL were either recruited by Danny D'Antoni and staff or brought in as walk-ons!!  The Buck Stops with DD!!  No use looking ANYWHERE ELSE!!

  • I liked it a lot better. But we still revert back to bad form in the half-court offense with under 8:00 to play. Just bad execution and terrible turnovers.

  •  Gotta good chance @home vs. FIU, ODU and Charlotte in Feb. Might win 2 of those 3.

  • The "athletic ball" had gotten old and fat. All season there is minimal movement everyone seem to just stand in place waiting for someone to throw it to them.  No back-door cuts, no effective alley-oops, no pick and roll, nothing along the line of previous years.

Also seems there is no rhyme or reason for the rotation week to week?

Outside of FIU, which of those other two can we beat? I ask because I haven't really followed the conference this season.

As for today, this team continues to show it cannot shoot the ball. 13% from three, if I remember correctly. Defense is like always. No change there. They shot 43% for the game and D'Antoni says that's okay. What? Good defenses don't allow that. As for the effort, I'm glad they didn't quit. Tavion needs to be rested more in the game. As far as I can remember, he didn't come out in the 2nd half. Tough homestand coming up.

The only thing exciting about Herd bball now is the anticipation of who we will see in rotation game to game

  • I just could not watch today...I don't enjoy it as I should.  Looked afterward at boxscore and thread...could not see why Obinna was seemingly ineffective.   I did not see foul trouble...and few shots.   He seemed to be coming on strong and then just disappears.  Does anybody know why?

I think that our current rotation approach is known as the "grasping at straws" approach!!

  • We may win one or two more. It?s getting bad when we start saying we?re playing better but still lose.
