I don?t think commenting on who or how many DD offered is making excuses.  If he?s correct and factual, well a fact around here is a refreshing change up.

there are probably multiple factors people can point to as why....I'm not sure if you misread or not, but I was not stating any opinion on DD being fired or not, simple saying meister didn't make an excuse.

he offered more with one being a 6-11 player from Indiana that ended up signing with a big 10 member and a couple of others that followed coaches or joined their friends. I think the three HM referred to had some serious interest in MU like having the Herd in their top three.  Just look at the couple that went to St Bonny that MU recruited and etc..

The roster at a minimum needs a 50% turnover.  There is not a freshman coming in that will have any impact.  DD needs a minimum of 3 JUCO, grad transfers or portal players that wil start to join the team.

Scholarships are 1 year contracts and he has several players that have not held up their end by being a D1 player.  There is no loyalty in college sports so it would not reflect poorly on DD if some scholarships were not renewed.

DD rarely has won any recruiting battles for a player.  Look at the difference between Huff and staff and DD and staff.  I get Twitter pictures from all over the country from Huffs staff this off season.  I am in hopes that turns into wins.  Might see DD in Cross Lanes but that is about it.

I'd hope that was a mistake, including Fricks in the mix. Have you watched him prior to his injury. If we start ballasting overboard player's injured, we can't complain about anyone leaving anytime or any other portal issues. Wow

The portal means you buy the best teams. Competition is just another word for money. Next comes organized crime.
