  • Another glaring negative factor in this losing streak.  Post-game comments, per Steve Cotton or other radio person, indicate that Marshall was averaging something like 85 ppg. after the win at EKU.  Since then, even with the 79 points tonight, we are scoring only about 65 ppg!!  Big difference, and helps explain the 10-game losing streak!

Post game interview with Dan brining up youth again.
He decided not to use the transfer portal or bring in JUCOs, quit bringing it up when you made the damn roster.
He shouldn?t have been so giddy about Williams and West leaving if he is worried about class listings.

  • Too much standing around and too much dribbling. Should never have a shot clock violation like we did tonight. Too much worrying about what shot you are going to create instead of getting the ball to the open man. Many times in the first half, Braun was open in the corner and nobody would work the ball to him. We beat ourselves tonight. Yeah, there were some bad calls and no calls. As others mentioned, it should have never come to that. I don't see how we end this on Saturday.

Go watch the UAB and western game if you want to see teams move without the ball.  It is night and day from our one one hero dribble dribble then turn it over ball.  Dantoni should watch actually

  • I?m starting to go to the record books for longest losing streak and Dwight Freeman lost 13 in a row back in ?91-92 season.

Possible it could go to 13 games, the next game we are favored currently is FIU on 2/10.

The fact DD keeps playing Goran is all the proof we need that we need to fire DD.

Easy there. I only remember 2 Beyers TO's tonight. We have so much confidence in him we have him in-bounding vs. the full-court press.

A true PG and we win handily. Too many bad passes ( e.g. miserable lobs ) and lost dribbles. Gave up way too may easy baskets, especially in the 1st half. Team plays dumb basketball.

Yeah, well at a critical point in 2nd half he hit a nice trey.  On the very next Herd possession he shoots an AIR BALL on another 3-point shot.  They go down and score.  I believe we had a 4 o4 5 point lead after his 3 pointer.  After they score, he is taking ball out bounds against their pressure, throws pass inbounds but it HITS the out of bounds line; turnover to MTSU.  In a very short span, our small lead is all but gone!  Ball should NEVER be in Byers hands except only if he is shooting; a walking disaster waiting to happen otherwise!!

Yes. A million times better. Goran is a low level NAIA player and would only be decent at that level cause he is 7 foot tall.

Beyers makes shots, dribbles and penetrates etc. He actually has skill?. Unfortunately everyone on this board wants to put his every move under a microscope when in reality Taylor, Kinsey, and rest of the team makes the same poor decisions. The only common denominator in these terrible decisions is coaching.

  • Since season started: Enjoyment, optimism, frustration, disbelief, sympathy, apathy.

    I am at stage 5

Hope they can pull it together.

Womens team lost by almost 40 at MTSU.

  • Tough loss last night.  I'm not going to rag on Danny for anything.  The team shot decently.  Taylor had a really good game.  That is what I thought he was going to be like this season.  He has shot the ball better lately, so hopefully he is fully out of his season long slump and he can help us get some wins down the stretch.

he's not good defensively...but hey we'd bench 85% of team if it was about only defense.  last night he was back to his TO game a bit.

at least he scores some and can shoot some and make foul shots.  that makes him better than the majority of the team on offense.

oh well, it is a %^&* show and hard to blame one guy.

I like the way AT played.  TK is doing fine other than shooting when double and dribble teamed and stopping the ball from moving.  he also doesn't raise his team mates level of play by moving ball and otherwise facilitating offense.  I have to think that DD is fine with it otherwise why the 39-40 minutes a game and no changes.

  • I actually thought we played a pretty good game last night, and really didn't mind most of Danny's rotation. Except when he put Goran back in late in the game, he was just too slow to play against MTSU and immediately cost us five points.
