Marshall is an 8.5 point favorite. Little surprised it's that much. Looks like we are getting a little respect. OU just lost by 4 at Michigan.

Being at home helps the HERD . I would like to see the HERD come out and give another Miami like performance but I say we come out flat and OU makes it a close game . That being said , I have the HERD prevailing by 7 .

Usually the home team wins this game. The last time Ohio U won in Htown was Nov 30, 2011 70-68 when Groce took OU to the Sweet Sixteen. Since them the last seven games had been won by the home team.

FWIW: If you go to the Bobcat board, a lot of the Bobcat posters think the Michigan game was an aberration. The general feeling is that MU will win this game. OU is deep at guard which may a problem for MU.
 
Ohio U is historically a better program. Some get all excited about our one win in The Big Dance. Oho U has made to the Elite Eight in 1964; and to the Sweet Sixteen in 1960; 1964 and 2012.  They made it to the Round of 32 as recently as in 2021.

this is one of the few that really matters to me, esp this particular year.  i have the program i care about on a short leash this year.  i expect them to be good boys and heel  ;D  i seriously like OU- went i dont hate the ___ out of them

I'll take a 1 point win.

They more than match up size-wise.  I hope our inside guys can hold up without fouling too much because, judging from their roster, they have P5 size.  From what little I saw of them, their bigs are bulky but pretty active.  In other words, not slugs.  But it was hard to tell much because I understood the announcer to say their opponent was below NAIA and did not give scholarships.

Unless 3000 people come in the next 5 minutes, not even close to a sell out. I was told 900 tickets from a sell out days ago. But that doesn't mean those people that have the tickets will show up. Lower bowl is sparse

We are laying it on them on defense. Our offense struggled early but we are all over them. Nice to see we can play D too now. This is a good team.

Defense is strong again for this half, and on the offensive side they are blowing by Ohio and they can't keep up.
