  • Actually he does have eligibility to come back. That being said, he likely will not (And should not) come back considering his draft projection. Bowl game is likely his last.

I'm not sure how that is possible. It was reported this was his last season of eligibility and he is a 6th year senior. He had 2 seasons left when he was dismissed from FSU, even though he didn't play in college for a year after, during the covid year so would that exemption still apply? Everything i saw about the xfer said this season would be his last. It's in several publications as such as well, and in coverage during the season. Interesting

  • I am watching the Miami/UAB Bahamas bowl (why not?) and there is a 25-year-old 7th year senior on Miami's defense. Imagine playing over a quarter of your life for a college.

I know a lot of people don't like the 6-6 no name teams playing in bowls, but it beats Friends reruns. I work on my couch (recommend the consultant lifestyle) most of the day.

  • I'm watching the UAB/Miami game too. The 11:30am start time is a little weird but it's entertaining enough. It's good background noise when taking end of the year PTO and the kids are still in school.

And for those that don't know... The UTSA vs. Troy Cure Bowl kicks off today at 3:00pm.

  • It ahould be a blowout win. Uconn is probably the worst 6-6 team in the damn country and we have the talent to beat Notre dame on this team. We should be far better than 8-4 this season. Start expecting more than possibly not beating a TERRIBLE UCONN team in a crappy bowl

JFC.. I bet your a fun one...

  • Just watched the end of the Bahamas Bowl, two 6 - 6 teams that both would give us a tossle/hassle. I think we will have alll the competition we need from UConn, and will be happy with a win of any size.  Remember, we were excited about beating App State and Ga Southern while they had only 5 and 6 wins.  Why would we look at UConn any differently.

So you're charging people money for you to watch college football?  Sweet.

Yeah, wasbarryb, but I'll bet that bbcard1 is still more productive than about 95% of the politically elected folks in DC while he is sitting at home and "watching"!!  :D

  • No they won't.  I went and watched here and there from some of their games.  They are exploitable on the d-line and they can't stop the run.  Laborn and Ali should run all over them.

    Here's what I'm worried about:

As football coaches, I'd probably take Jim Mora over Charles Huff.
In memory of Dr Daniel P Babb who taught so much to so many.

No question he is a better coach than Huff. Huff isn't turning around a 1-11 team to 6-6 the following year. He can't beat bowling green wit a team that beat notre dame.

Somehow you appear to be missing or overlooking it was Huff's team that beat Notre Dame.
