I heard from a reliable source that the Myrtle Beach Bowl will have MAC officials.

Not good news for The Herd.

All of the bowls have been assigned except for Championship as that will be determined by semi final outcomes.

I still wouldn't like it, but it might be a little more palatable if the statisticians would give out players credit for the extra yardage when they have to have 150 yard drives for the touchdown.

What dog would MAC refs have in our fight with UCONN ? They got their miracle win with BG over the Herd this year. We "pre-paid" in basketball last year with the physicality allowed at our end and the touch fouls at their end.

Just my opinion but I think most people around eastern college basketball know Danny got the officiating shaft last year - making a bad ballclub worse - and that his job is on the line this year. TK unreconizeable last season and now dominant this season. Plus things like playing 4 on 5 with one of the euro's on the floor.

Silly conspiracy stuff imo. In a neutral bowl game at a neutral site I doubt very seriously MAC officials are conspiring against Marshall. We have been out of league for 17 years. I will be the first to say i'm wrong if it turns out to be called completely one sided but in a world where millions of duped people believe that climate change is an existential threat to humanity despite no evidence at all I suppose we shouldn't be surprised about this either.

Turnovers are much more likely to determine the outcome.

I worry more about competence than I do about the MAC being against us.
It could be worse...they could be ACC or Conference Judy scum.

It appears the officials have done a good job. UConn is starting to lose composure so they might be receiving more penalties.
