Topic: Herd vs UConn score predictions

Huff has shown in the games he has time to prepare of focus on we play better.  Last year at Navy, the bowl game against Louisiana and this year Notre Dame.

It doesn't seem like he has any job distractions so I expect us to have a good game.

I think we get typical 21-26 points but we hold them to <10.  Call it 24-9

I just don't see UCONN scoring over 15 points unless something wonky happens; scoop and score or something like a blocked kick/punt returned for a score. I am confident in the Herd D.

I am going with 23-13 Marshall and it won't even seem that close because time of possession should heavily favor MU.

Today I am looking at all aspects of special teams. Will this unit improve and preform at a higher level? Offensively, looking at ball control and playing a clean, mistake free game.

I think the extra practice sessions for The Herd will pay dividends for Fancher. He kept improving as the season progressed so I am expecting him to take another jump in this game. Trickett had some very positive comments on Fancher's improvement on his interview on WSAZ. I will not pick a score, but I will say the team with the fewer turnovers will win. ;)

What else would Trickett say?
That Fancher had a terrible week of practice & has regressed?
OR, Fancher did not progress as much as we had hoped?
OR, that Fancher doesn't seem capable of reading defenses?

Trickett was dishing out pure coach-speak propaganda; similar to a heart surgeon's 'successful surgury' the day before the patient dies of heart failure, the Third Reich claiming that Stalingrad had fallen or that 'mission accomplished' in Iraq.

I hope that Trickett is telling the truth.
