  • He didn't travel with the team.

What's the story there?  Did Huff tell him he didn't have a chance of playing and Colombi told him to go F&*% himself.  Hope that wasn't the case.  Should give all Srs..a chance to play in their last game, a bowl one at that, if at all possible!

I don't have any details, the TV broadcast didn't elaborate.
    Go Herd!

  • The 1st half playing hasn't been pretty but the score is beautiful!

  • The Herd 21-0 at the half. Not pretty, but we are winning. ESPN is trying to hard to convince everyone that UConn can come back. If I was UConn I would start throwing the ball when the receive the 2nd half kickoff.

  • We don't look polished thats for sure. Puckering up a bit. I hate playing not to lose. We may be watching the two worst throwing QB's in D1. Although one is an RS Freshmen and one a true freshmen. Fancher can play better. Hopefully he can settle down and make some throws in the second half when needed.

  • CP not dressed. So much for E's theory.

My theory? I just said, Cole was the first team scout leader. As it turned out, Cole won Scout Team Player of The Year.. Cole hasn't played all year, so it doesn't surprise me he didn't dress..

  • How did UConn win 6 games?

The Huskies beat Fresno State, who won the MWC and beat Washington State. I'm just glad we aren't taking this team lightly. We need to finish strong and beat down the Huskies..

Best bet in sports is taking the home team when the away team is traveling the 3 hour time zone. It's a good win for UConn and don't want to discredit it. But they had an advantage that game.

I did see what Fresno was without their starting QB that game. As we know, that always helps.

If we went without our starting QB, we would probably be better. Lol

Just asking/speculating, not trying to accuse.  Just wonder if, since he is out of eligibility, that perhaps he finished the semester at MU, assume that he was in graduate school, and decided then to transfer back out West, to Texas Tech?. perhaps.  And maybe use his MU credits that transfer to finish grad school out there.  Would make since if further education is in his plans, and if he plans to live and work in Texas or somewhere in the West.

Pretty obvious that ESPN cleared the announcers well in advance with the Athletic Leadership up in Storrs.

I am sure they are trying to keep the UConn TV audience watching the game.  ;)

  • Well, they certainly made our perimeter D guys look pretty bad on this touchdown drive.  Hopefully, D coordinator will get it across to Herd D that game isn't over yet.  Our O needs to respond, eat up some clock if nothing else.

Man, our return teams, punt and kickoff, need a lot of work by the time the 2023 season rolls around.  Look ragged and often appear to be going through the motions at times!

  • No sure what is uglier....that pass thrown right into the ground or these uniforms!  Joking!....kinda.
Yeah, the uniforms are pretty bad. Enough to make me stop watching the team. I could 100% agree when Hammy said Marshall fans should start wearing Kelly green. Though I think the previous administration had a point when they opined that the darker green color would add more choices/options in terms of sportswear/fan gear. I'm just tired of someone at Marshall deciding their color scheme is the best, and everyone else has to go along with it. If there wasn't a deviation from traditional school colors, then it wouldn't be a problem.
