  • The McNeese St pipeline continues.  Watch the film.  He's little but he's elusive with some breakaway speed.

  • That young man looks like he can play.  Some much needed speed in the WR room.  Should be good in the slot.

In college size isn't as big a deal imo if you're explosive and you can get in space

I love the look of our new dude!

  • Tyreek Hill isn't big but is for sure a difference maker.  Welcome to the Herd.

  • He looks like a smart runner, but I didn't think him particularly fast.  He got caught up with on almost every highlight.  My question is with the generally more speed and better coverage in FBS can he still elude would be tacklers?  I'm sure he'll be an asset here and will make plays.  I was just diggin a layer deeper.  If he has a motor anywhere close to Sams it won't matter.  No quit in the kid is the first step.

  • Looks like he could be explosive in the kick return game.

Yeah I misspoke earlier.  More quicks than speed.  But if he can run routes like ole Tommy Shuler that would be big.

  • He may not have world class top speed but he has great quick speed. He looks really explosive.

I did like those plays where he used slight trajectory changes to make himself untackleable down the stretch.

  • I like the highlight reel and don't worry about his size.  Seems to "hit" his top speed quickly.  However, can MU get him the ball ?

Tommy shuler got ran down by a middle linebacker with a 20 yard head start once. Speed isn't as important as quickness, and route running at WR.

Duh.    The OP mentioned breakaway speed and that is what I replied to.  And he already responded that he meant he was quick to get out there.  Also that these are FCS defenders and that could be a different look in FBS.  I'm on board with the guy.  Just making a discussion out of the thread.

Shuler advanced the football.  If this guy can do that and we can get him the ball then I'm all in.

Tommy was a first down machine largely because he & Cato had been playing catch since elementary school...also a great option route runner.

  • I've been saying all year we need more speed at WR.  If he's returning kicks at the FCS level, he's fast.  Period.  I welcome him!
