We look slow and just all-around bad. Those middle-of-the-pack Sun Belt predictions may in the pre-season are looking spot on right now.

27-17 Ga Southern still leads at the under-8 timeout of the first half. We aren't playing much defense and even when we have it hasn't mattered. They're hitting everything and we have been ice cold until the last couple of possessions. Really need to get this down to 5 or 6 before half.

Just two league games to date but so far we have been way behind our opponents in quickness, pure athleticism, and overall team physicality.

Kinsey scores 6 points in the final 12 seconds to close it to 12 at half and at least make it achievable in the second half.  We shot like Morgantown in that half.

Kinsey, the only Bright spot.. He scored 8 of his 16 points in the final 1:30 of the half to help us get back within striking range. But, we have to get stops. We gave up way too many easy buckets. I bet they had 14 points off lobs

Extremely disappointing first half.  Hopefully second different.  Looks I was wrong thinking worst case was top four.  Hope it was a fluke in first but damn we made them look great!!

Per Steve Cotton, Eagles average 68 ppg, 62 against D1 foes.  48 points at the half.  Their leading scorer averages about 13 ppg., 16 at the half.  So much for film study.  Ah, that vaunted D'Antoni D is clicking on at least three cylinders so far down in Statesboro!!

As someone else posted, a lot of dunks and layups. Our perimeter defense is abysmal.
