Turning away fans, when you reduced capacity to 4500 or so taking out learfield tickets, is not good. You want those people going and having fun and wanting to continue going. To be honest, in 10-15 years literally half or more of our fanbase is gonna be dead or too old to come to games. We need as many people in there as we can get, definitely not having someone come and be told it's sold out.
The hand rail thing kills me. Better tarp off the top half of the upper chair backs too because they don't have rails.
I get it in the football stadium, because we haven't had more than 25-28k in years, barring Purdue or some p5. We didn't even sell out VT. But basketball, before covid, we had people up there.
If you want to put chairs up there then that's awesome, let's do it. But 5700 seats is not enough, and I'm glad that's the case. Love our fanbase.
