NAIA National Player of the Week for a 2nd time. This time for scoring 59 points in a game. I don't care what level this is, its worth a look imo.

So that's what a 59-point performance will do for you! For the second time this season and second time in a month, Eutectic guard Grace Beyer was named the NAIA Player of the Week for the week of Jan. 10-16.

This all comes on the heels of Beyer's new personal best 59-point game on Thursday against Columbia where she was short of the all-time NAIA single game record by just three points. She was only off the all-time NAIA record for made field goals in a game by three as she converted on 23 in the UHSP 88-63 rout of the Cougars. It's also the first time the Eutectics have ever beaten Columbia in the nine years that both clubs have been members of the American Midwest Conference. They meet Columbia again on the road to wrap up the regular season on Feb. 16.

Beyer was named the NAIA Player of the Week just two weeks ago for the week of Dec. 27-Jan. 2. That was after she dumped 45 points on Midland (NE) and set a new Wikert Event Center record for most points in a single game.

The native of Eagle, Wisconsin was named the NAIA Player of the Week twice during the 2021-22 season as well. Beyer will get two chances to add to her Eutectic career scoring record when USHP travels to Central Baptist on Thursday and Williams Baptist on Saturday.
