Another large early lead blown by playing our vaunted "slop ball" offensively.  From 17-3 down to 5 pt. lead.  Need some solid play from our bench with both Handlogten and OAK on the sidelines.

What I've been saying for a couple weeks now. Andy and Oak are completely out of control. Andy puts up more wild shots and Oak has bricks for hands.

We've had a 12 point lead for 3 to 4 minutes now.  Coastal doing nothing on offense but we come down and just throw up the first three we can get, no working the ball at all for a better shot, etc.  Just jack a quick three, and of course, it's an air ball, a shot off the side of the backboard, etc., etc., and WE get NO rebounds offensively.  This will no doubt work against Coastal and GA State, couple of the worst teams in the SBC.  But, Jiminy Crickets, we should be up by 20 to 25 by now and this game in all intents should be over!

I know some may say we are up by 17 so what complain. But we play so dumb and out of control it's really sad. Oak should easily have at least 8 more points than he has. 3 blown oops and at least 2 missed brick free throws. Curfman finally hit a 3 but was 0-5. And luckily CC is really bad on offense because our D is getting beat over and over.

45-28 at the half and I doubt we are hitting 15% from 3 pt land; Curfman is 1 for 6 for example.  That's with our 2 "bigs" on the bench for a long spell.  Got decent, but sporadic play, IMO, from both frosh forwards, Fricks and Connor.  Taylor has 17 at the half, could be on the way to a career high.

Strickly my opinion, but I honestly believe MU could beat Coastal this evening and then after about an hour or so break, turn around an beat our NEXT opponent on the same floor!  Not wanting to be overly confident, but these are among the League's worst, and we need to come back to H-town with 2 big Ws after Saturday.

Keep it going in the 2nd half, HERD!!

This league is very very weak. Louisiana is solid but they aren't near as good as some think. The bottom 8-10 teams are just plain awful.
