The Dot turned into a launch pad this weekend but today on the strength of a 2 run ph shot by Faringa and a 3 run shot by Michallas   sandwiched around a second Chelemon RBI and a 3 hit performance by Bickel,Lady Herd takes the rubber game Sunday 8-4! once again , for her 4 Hr in 2 days JMU ? Shifflet got another as did Mathias. Nestor survived for the win and now to hope that Troy takes down La and we?d be back tied awaiting on Texas St this coming week.

The Lady Herd won the rubber game on Sunday with the help of home runs from Faringa and Michallas, and a strong performance by Bickel. Shifflet and Mathias also hit home runs, and Nestor earned the win for the Lady Herd. It seems like there is some hope for the Lady Herd to tie the standings if Troy defeats La, and they have a game against Texas St coming up.

Thumbing through Texas State's season, I saw they beat Alabama earlier and have a large number of 1-run losses to good softball teams. They can't be taken lightly by any stretch.
