Would you though? Most of you lot on here whining because we won the CIT, and that was against teams with winning records, not a combined 14-28. But again, keep taking everything back to basketball. Pathetic.

You play the schedule you are handed and in football the majority of games are scheduled years in advance.  You can't control the conference games, but you can win them. I do find it interesting the majority of the MU sports team play P5 teams, except for the one MU major sport.

I don't think anyone is "whining" about the CIT. I will say beating IUPUI; Presbyterian; Hampton and Green Bay with all the games at home with probably favorable calls from the refs is less impressive than beating a UConn team on a neutral field. Bring on Queens (finished in 9th place in the Asun), which kinds of sums up the season with us losing to the first and last games.

At least I flip flopped and finally get it instead of doubling down and making excuses every year. Especially after losing the first game of the tournament to Rice in 22 and Texas st in 23.

Really? Because you were on board after Rice in 22, then off board after move to the sunbelt, said you'd never go, then back on board enjoying the ride until late November when Dan didn't give you any turkey, and then strictly off board hoping for losses ever since, even when we were 1 game away from a reg season title.

Who knows, you might be a fan again before you read this. I just wish you'd stop hijacking threads and topics. You're hurting the entire site. We have another board if you want to be that way at HN.

It won't take long this season for that to be apparent. I'm just praying Fancher doesn't start or is pulled after a couple 3 and outs before we lose to ECU in the second game. All that speed he has but we still lost games scoring 7-13 points, and our defense pitching shut outs to win 12-0 over awful teams. People put way too much stock into how we finished, beating some very bad teams down the stretch and an awful uconn team in a bowl. We have a great schedule this year and a lot of opportunity. But we are throwing it in the trash with Fancher. Just the truth.

You say football beat some bad teams down the stretch? At least they beat them, unlike basketball losing to Rice and Texas St when it mattered. Or Queens, L Monroe!!!! At least football beat ND and the teams they should have down the stretch. But you still blast them and have a love fest with basketball that can't win a game in a conference tournament now for two years.
