  • I was wrong about Krall.  He?s put together a pretty exciting young team.

  • De La Cruz is going to be special. 6'5" and runs like a deer. If they will keep McClain, Cruz, India, Stephenson and a few others and pick up a couple pitchers, this team can be good in a year or two.

  • In the past, I started every baseball season thinking the Reds would be at least a wild card team. I've now come to the reality that they will be nothing more than a development team to the big money teams in baseball. Turned on the game last night for a little bit and I bet the stadium wasn't half full. I've watched so much mishandling of players that I've lost confidence on whoever is the owner and spending the money. Remember when the Reds had Johnny Cueto and Homer Bailey? They gave Bailey, a .500 pitcher, a huge contract and traded Cueto. They signed Joey Votto to a 10 year deal. He has spent a lot of that contract injured. It's moves like that that leave me no faith in the Reds organization.

  • This team is much better than I thought they would be. I figured it was another 100 loss team. They would really have to screw things up to finish with 100 losses.

  • Tough loss yesterday. Hopefully, they can bounce back and take the series today.

FYI, it is now August and somehow they are in first place in the NL Central.

Yes it has.  Personally after last year if they can win 82 games I'd call it a minor miracle.
