Maybe reading too much into it, but Adam Williams rarely likes tweets from Marshall fans talking about the team, in fact, since he?s been here, I?ve only seen him like tweets from fans that explicitly place the program/university in a positive light. But what did he do yesterday? He likes this reply saying we need a COUPLE more players, well we know we?ve got one, but maybes there?s another. Maybe it?s Moe, maybe it?s somebody else. I?ll take off my tin foil hat now.

If you want a really crazy theory, they?re waiting for Marko to finish his last class for his degree over the summer so he can enter the portal as a grad transfer since that?s the only way to go now that the portal is closed. I don?t have any inside info on it or anything, just a thought.

wonder why those "good guards" in the MEAC (29th) didn't sign with teams in the 28 conferences that were supposedly better. 
Sun Belt was 15th.  AAC was 7th.  MT West was 8th.  CUSA was 10th.  MAC was 18th. (Sagarin ratings)

although there are always exceptions (diamonds in the rough, borderline academic failures, etc) i'm inclined to believe that the majority of the time player caliber is relative, especially mid-to-upperclassmen transfers.  is the MEAC closer to the DII than it is to SBC?

It's funny, Marko is getting an engineer degree and the one class is in the fall.

I graduated from the school of engineering and know of a handful of people that did co-ops or worked with the admin. to get credit for that "last" class to not have to do another semester (switching cl(@/:; or counting a co-op/internship in the summer as class credit).

The administration for engineering always worked with us and also helped those people to graduate and with the appropriate credits.

Wonder if Dan and the coaches have tried that route. Just sounds like another example of being lazy and also not managing the players schedule for graduating on time (heck, a counselor would have pointed this out at least two years ago and each time when selecting cl(@/:; ) for semesters.

But his 3 point% doesn't really back that claim. 21%_40%_32% in his 3 years. Not bad the last 2 years but I wouldn't say he can really shoot it like he is a marksman. But I think he was a nice addition because we were in major trouble. Need at least one more to possibly get over the hump.

Moe doesn't seem much different than Conner.  we need our slew of 6'8 - 6'11 players to show tangible improvement in at least a couple of categories each this fall.  anything from weight/strength/toughness to rebounding to quickness to shot blocking to shooting % to finishing around the O basket.

however, with the Handlogten turn of events, it will be only a little interesting to follow their FR years (Moe, Gingeleski, some of the guards we didn't get) to see if any of them live up to or beyond.

I don't see us competing with some quality program for kids. Looks like we take the low hanging fruit and HOPE it pays off. I wish I were more confident in the staffs abilities. Make me eat crow DD and staff!

To at least compete for a championship. The SB shouldn't be an uphill battle. I feel we are about a .500 team now maybe. One more really good scoring guard or a really good PG should give us a chance.

Doesn't seem like a bad kid. Did see where he got some technicals during games making dumb decisions (like heading butting the ball after a dunk and talking junk to other players and doing pushing).

Did read that his dad is a hot head and likes to give his thoughts to the coaches and fans during games and practices. Don't read up on his dad from a couple of years ago....

Overall, his videos seem okay, he can score from the different levels, is tough, and isn't skinny. From his videos, he doesn't seem that athletic and seems slow moving.

Yes I saw all of those. But different people were saying he had a lot of "antics". And someone said a teacher of his had said the same thing. Just what people were saying and I have no idea. But there Is a reason he isn't getting better offers.
