Some of the ones I have read about will not be missed by me for sure. Mr. Pollack will be though.

I honestly don't think I could name one ESPN personality past maybe the Gameday guys.  And I only know 2 of them.  I just don't watch ESPN much unless we're playing on there.  And the game announcers for the ESPN family of channels are pretty forgettable or local yokels for each venue.

Used to watch a lot more back when we were mentioned a lot more and frequently had highlights on the countdown shows and sportscenter.  Miss Shoe.  He always kept us relative back then.

Unpossible!?!  They spent the whole time talking about the same 10 FBS teams and the same 3 NBA teams.  Surely that kept people watching and revenue being generated?

Today, another one to go was Gene Wojciechowski (sp), I believe who was a football analyst and maybe a past Game Day personality.  Read one think that Disney and, of course, ESPN were looking to cut personnel, including some described as "mid-level" personnel, making between " one and a half to five million dollars" a year!!

Speaking just for me, hate to see anyone lose their job or means to making a living.  But it is hard to find much sympathy for any of those on the air, particularly, personnel doing what they do and being described as "mid-level personnel", making that kind of MONEY!!
