I am thinking we will be in the 8 to 9 wins and will be in the conference championship game.  The schedule is fun and difficult and should lead to an exciting season if Herd football.

Passing game is a big question. We improve that and we will be a legit team.

I still think people are going to be surprised at how good we will be. If the D is as good as last year and it looks possible. And I think Fancher is going to be vastly improved. Having a year under you belt and an off-season to process it and work on his game will be huge. Getting Ali back to 100% is also huge. And I think some WRs will step up this year.

We need the receivers to step up. Ali will be a beast. He will create opportunities in the passing game.

Article in this mornings HD profiles ECU. Heavy losses on O and 6 starters back on D but lost all their LB's and 2 of the top 3 tacklers. Strength is DL.

May be a defensive game with low score. If we don't turn it over multiple times, we win. Jmo

what i'm in agreement with (nothing new here!)-
   low end will be because the O didn't progress.  that key position players don't match last year's keys in all groups.  also includes K/Ps and SPTs.  that coaching stayed relatively the same.
   high end will be because the O progressed some, became more balanced, broadened their book.  that there's no drop off on D.  that the kicking game and SPTs progressed some.  that coaching decisions and game mgmt improved.

confidence:  D will be very good overall, maybe no drop-off at all;  K/P & SPT will show some improvement.  the run game will be solid again.
lack confidence in:  OL pass protection, QB, playbook.  getting the TE's more involved other than just run blocking.  that coaching- game prep and in-game mgmt will improve (hip-hip-hooray if the QBs seem more comfortable and we have less need for K/Ps and SpTs)
