Young folks now don't understand our feelings toward Furman. I hated them but we hoped to get to their level. The first win over Furman was huge, same with the win over EKU. One of my all time favorite Herd games was beating Furman 54-0. Furman was certainly a huge stepping stone for us. Hard to believe now.
