  • Haven't heard anything lately about the Sun Belt Conference starting Swimming & Diving as a conference sport.  Marshall went to the MVC to compete last season with the understanding that this sport would be a SBC sanctioned sport.  But have not heard anything about this happening?  Did I miss something?

Anyone know what is the update on this subject?

This is all I've seen - several articles that came out about the same time and are basically the same as this.  Nothing from the conference tho.

Sun Belt just announced today the official return of swimming and diving for the 23/24 season. The current membership of four institutions will include Georgia Southern, James Madison, Marshall and Old Dominion.

The Sun Belt Conference will host a conference championship in 2024. The event is set for February 14-17 at the Rosen Aquatics Center in Orlando, Fla. Individual bids to the NCAA Championship are earned through qualification times and standards.
