I'm really curious about Radford at The Greenbrier.  Where would that take place?  At the (indoor or outdoor) tennis center?  In the grand ballroom (where they've had boxing matches before)?  Interesting....

In my opinion, no MU athletic person can give VALID reasons why we would NOT want to play Morehead or EKU every year (especially at home).

I actually like visiting locations like that in WV,  It spreads the brand into areas that need to think about Marshall more.

I agree about Morehead and EKU. That is 2 away games that Marshall fans can easily go see. And there is always a good Marshall crowd at those 2 places. I'm talking easily 500-1000. It makes no sense to not play those 2 yearly home and home. Same thing with Ohio U.

If it's like the high school tournament they've hosted the past two years, it would be in Colonial Hall.  Not much seating.  There's photos on the web if one wants to search.

Get real, bust.  Traveling to the Greenbrier is a lot easier for MANY, MANY HERD FANS than traveling to Morehead and Richmond, KY!!  Not ALL HERD FANS reside in decaying and dying Huntington, which may surprise you!!

I hope we get some money for doing this. That situation is fine for HS teams but D1 college? Come on. The one positive aspect is - any Herd fans in the area may get a chance to see us play.

Well maybe they got used to playing in Dallas behind a curtain. And who cares about a few fans getting to see us at the greenbrier. If it had seating is one thing. But playing in a rec center type building? Good grief!!!

It looked like you may get 200 people for a game there. That may be a stretch. It also looks like it would be hard to do any televised event in the ballroom.

LOL right back.  From what we know about Danny's "tremendous" recruiting efforts this past year in replacing guys like Taevion, Andy, etc., there also will probably be a lot of spacious "standing room" available inside the CAM this season during HERD games.  Lots of vacant seats, too!!!

I don't agree. Not the best, but far from horrible. We've definitely had worse home schedules. It's actually better than I expected.

EKU and Morehead are going to destroy your computer rankings almost every time. And yes, I know Morehead is occasionally good for their level and wins their conference. But the last time they made the tourney, their KenPom was only 134. Last year it was 237.

Take out the Cayman Islands games (and we should be trying to play in a tourney like that every year), and you only have 10 games to work with. Why would you waste 2 of those 10 on horrible low-level teams?

Yeah, I'm not at all justifying these moronic games at Queens or at the Greenbrier. If that above pic really is the "arena," then whoever scheduled that game should be slapped in the face.

I'm just saying those 10 games should be treated as precious opportunities to raise your strength of schedule. They mean absolutely nothing otherwise.

Having a couple extra drivable road games at horrible teams isn't worth it. Schedule more buy games at UK, UL, OSU, Cincy, VT, etc if you care that much about playing nearby.

Rumor is that The Greenbrier is planning to host an MTE next year. I think Justice is smart enough to comprehend that in order for him to make money on this game or on an MTE, he is going to need to sell more that 50 tickets. So let?s see what the plan is before you crucify someone. You are a smart guy, Bust, with many outspoken (albeit repetitive) opinions, but we?ve seen a number of those walked back over the years. I do appreciate your enthusiasm, so keep firing away. ✌️
