Maybe Fancher has a religious incompatibility with teams on our schedule and wont play this year, you know, like Ali at Notre Dame last year. Just though I'd give a little reminder of what your insight brings us. How many of you didn't want Pennington to play after his Freshman debut? Nothing I've seen precludes Fancher from getting better if he's healthy. Having a bigger, better, and healthy o-line without a coaching change in mid-stream will also make a big difference. The boy was running for his life most of last year.
I think you are confusing speculation with evaluation of performance. Maybe you can, but I can't think of one thing I've been wrong about on this board relating to a player, coach, or program's
performance...and I'm predicting how things will go months and even years ahead of time. Individual seasons, Snyder, Doc, Hamrick, the soccer team, Columbi last year, and the list goes on and on.
This says it all...
We will be more than fine at QB if they use Fancher correctly.
Yup, you know you're in trouble when the goal for the season is to not let the starting QB lose the game.
