"Too many people are thinking of security instead of opportunity; they seem more afraid of life than of death"  – James F. Byrnes

Government is the most dangerous institution known to man. Throughout history it has violated the rights of men more than any individual or group of individuals could do: it has killed people, enslaved them, sent them to forced labor and concentration camps, and regularly robbed and pillaged them of the fruits of their expended labor. ~ JOHN HOSPERS

  • What is the capacity of the contract he signed?  is it a Developmental contract or is he on the Jazz roster.  I read the article and it was left unclear.

Exhibit 10 contract, which means the Jazz plan to bring him to training camp.

  • Good news.  He played much more assertive with Herd That than he did in the Summer League.  Great kid.  I hope great things happen for him in camp.

That is what he signed a couple months ago. In talking to Danny yesterday ne BELIEVES it is a 2 two contract. That would be super if true.
His salary would then be $507,000 this year and would almost guarantee some actual NBA time.
One reason it is thought to be a 2 way is that NBA teams can sign 3 players to a 2 way and yesterday Taevion and 2 others were announced as signing contracts.
Today, I consider myself, the luckiest man on the face of the earth..

Two way would be great. The way I understand it, two way contract would allow him to play in G league and be eligible to be brought up to NBA roster and sent back down. Other players on G league could be brought up but not eligible as part of flexible roster meaning they would have to be on full roster with G league contract bought out. This allows him to play nightly and develop and allow Jazz to use him as they see fit. Others may know better than I.

  • Exhibit 10 contracts are one-year minimum deals that can be converted to two-way contracts before the season starts. Utah already has three two-way contracts signed with Joey Hauser, Johnny Juzang, and Micah Potter. Likely, this means all three of the Exhibit 10 players will be suiting up for the Salt Lake City Stars and playing in the G-League.

    So great for him!!
