Logistically, a straight up merger between the MWC and PAC makes most the most sense but I'm sure there's some deadweight in the MWC that several parties would like to shed. Then there's the situation of MWC exit fees and the lack of a PAC media contract. Kind of crazy that the 2023 season has already started and there's so much up in the air for 2024.
I don't think it's going to happen but purely out of a sense of schadenfreude, I'd love for the PAC2 to invite a hodgepodge from the AAC and MWC and create a horrible abomination of a conference just so I can laugh at the likes of Memphis and Tulane fans bragging about being in a P5.
