  • In the modern day of NIL these college players are getting paid. They asked for this. So they should put on their big boy pants and deal with criticism, even if some consider it ?extreme?.

I wouldn?t call his play ?trash? but I?m not going to argue against that either.

  • Replace Fancher now. He is not our answer to our starting quarterback. Move him to a receiver and start someone else. He can't even get the ball to our receiver by throwing into the ground or trying to threw it between 4 DB's when others our open. If he is left as quarterback the season is going to be a joke.

  • Even Fancher's TD pass should have been a 2 yard loss, it was a slow floater behind the line of scrimmage and as soon as CM caught it, he was wrapped up but he spun loose and ran and did everything himself and scored.

It's not like Fancher rolled out and threw a perfect ball to a tightly covered WR in the corner of the end zone, under pressure.

  • Fancher & the WR's have to figure out a way to hit a deep ball.  Until that happens the offense is going to have a hard time.

  • Need to make a change this week.  We must produce more from the passing game.

easy there Knute Rockne, maybe we will eventually need to make a change.  But I think I'd have to wonder about a staff that watched all these QBs for the past 8 months, selected one, played vanilla and disappointing against an FCS team and then make a QB change?  wow.  I'd really wonder about that coach or staff.

  • How could you possibly think Fancher was the problem during that half?

  • So far today, I've watched parts of ASU-UNC, Tulane-Ole Miss, JMU-UVa and Duquense-Q'eers.

Of the G5 & FCS Dukes, the Herd's offense looks worse than any of them over a span of a game & a half.

  • Fancher fumbled the ball and ecu got 7. 0 Td passes.  But some the play that led to his fumble never works.  Fancher holds the ball not moving anywhere for 10 minutes.

  • I don't have a dog in the fight but I thought he played well and was accurate with his down field throws.  Recievers let him down several times.

  • Fancher is:

    Average.

I said this with Grant Wells and I'll say it with Fanceher too.  They're average.  Fancher's NCAA QBR is 88th out of 134 while Wells is 63rd.
