  • ENTIRE HERD D "faked out" by a FCS QB for a 64 yard TD run!!!  Either poorly coached, or mentally "SLOW", but don't tell me about all the GREAT TALENT that Huff has "accumulated" on that side of the ball!  Never laid a hand on him! PATHETIC!!!

  • Albany had possession twice as long as we did.  D was gassed.  They got to their QB so many times.  Eventually a few things are gonna shake loose.  Wouldn't be a problem if we had the points we should have had against a FCS squad.  Their 17 points is insignificant if we have 40+.  D wasn't the problem.

  • Outside of the long touchdown run by the Poffenbarger, it wasn't a terrible defensive showing. We had a spy on him, but the QB shook it off. Not saying I'm happy with the performance, but the D was largely ok.

  • They have a pretty good offense, and will do a lot in the FCS this year, we weren't prepared for them and planned to win on strength and talent; just like Clemson did when we won down there, and The Ohio State University did when then had to beat us on the last play of the game with a 52 yard field goal.  It happens, it shouldn't, but it does.  Just ask Michigan about 15 years ago.

  • My hats off to that team. I said we weren?t going to blow them out as I saw their Fordham game where they had 10 sacks and the QB played very well. I wouldn?t be surprised if they only lose 1-2 more games.

Clemson hit us with everything they had including the debut of Woodrow Dantzler in relief. They knew what they were into and we still beat them. Whipped them everywhere but the score, but thankfully did enough to beat them there, too.
