  • I always wonder if I?m over reacting after a disappointing game.  It doesn?t look like I over reacted by the looks of the sunbelt power rankings after week 1.  We are 12th out of 14 teams.  I don?t ever recall being placed that low in any conference poll since I first attended Marshall in 1986.  Sounds like MUther was one of the few impressed with our game against the Great Danes of Albany.

  • USA at #2?  Power rankings are a weekly thing and they were dominated.  Is this your list?  Or do you have a link?  I would put us 12-14th.

  • stupid power ranking; no one can know the strength of SBC opponents after one week.

  • We deserve no better after our showing. Our offense was putrid, awful and our defense gave up 17 against a bad FCS team. Special teams also bad.

There is insufficient evidence to say Albany is a bad FCS team. Things change fast these days. Check back in a couple of weeks and we'll have a better idea.

  • These are weekly so it seems fair as far as MU but USA is ranked way too high.  They didn't play well and got routed.
