Correction. The O-line can't give Ali a sliver of daylight to work in. The few times he's got the ball in some space he's made things happen. Most of the time he's being hit as he's being handed the football.

And, to be fair, we knew ECU was going to be stout against the run until we broke them down.  That first 4th down turnover on downs their D looked very solid.

I think the OL is fine. Usually they are on a body and even blocking downfield driving. But 8 in the box with 5 or 6 blocking will never come out good.

It really comes down to can we force teams to back the heck up out of the box to get some space. ECU had several times where they were just loaded in the middle. Oh and if Cam can't run the read stop trying to run it. It'll save a ton of those backfield hits Ali is getting where Cam just doesn't do anything with the ball. That would be the only big compliant of this season.
