Gonna be close as to which game will finish first, Tech's or the HERD's.  Hokies and Purdue still in the first half and it started about 6 hours or so ago!!!

Well his game did replace our game on ESPN and we do play him next so he's relevant in our lives for the moment, as soon as the Va tech is over, he's no longer fair game.

VA Tech loses at home to Purdue 24-17. Wells had 2 interceptions and 2 TD, that sounds familiar.

Exactly.  Same guy that opened the season with 4 picks and a loss to ODU last year.  He left us.  Not like we tossed him out and chose to have to start over at QB.  It's not an option to have him playing for us and therefore he doesn't matter.  But I wouldn't take him over Fancher anyway.  Talk about a lot of halves with no scoring and bonehead mistakes.  Everyone forget about Boise so fast?  Game in our pocket and we get 52 yards of offense in the second half.  The last ECU game?  2nd half meltdown again and gave away the game.  With Wells you either don't move the ball or you drive the whole field and throw it to the opponent.  No middle ground.

FWIW: VA Tech went with the transfer QB in the fourth quarter. I am not sure if Wells was hurt or benched? It will be interesting to see which QB VA Tech plays next week at Rutgers.

Wells was replaced as a result of being hurt. I understand Va Tech lost a couple of receivers during the game, that certainly won't help whoever the QB is.

That'll be a shame if he can't play against us.  So many will be disappointed he can't come here and win to show how much better he was than Cam.

Personally I would rather have Fancher than Grant.  Grant without a doubt has better passing skills than Fancher at the moment.  But Fancher has done what he has been asked and wins games.  Not saying I'm ecstatic about his QB play, but it could be he is 1-8 starter and not 8-1 as a starter.  Grant will straight up lose you some games.
