  • Awful 3rd down play call. Just pathetic. No chance.

Another chance to salt this game away, blown.

  • This is really bad. You can't have your gameplan be "let's give it to the other team with 2 minutes left" when they clearly have you dead to rights and your defense has been jelly all day. This will be a loss squarely on the coaches if we don't hold up here.

I'm thinking we really miss him.

    Not just third down.
    First was too conservative.

Whether we win or lose, this is poor coaching on the head man's part. He has played not to lose against a team that has reeled off big play after big play.

  • Disappointed in the fact we went full conservative / play not to loose last several posessiins.  Hope this is not an example of that costing us a game.
I don't like to lose, and that isn't so much because it is just a football game, but because defeat means the failure to reach your objective. I don't want a football player who doesn't take defeat to heart, who laughs it off with the thought, 'Oh, well, there's another Saturday.' The trouble in American life today, in business as well as in sports, is that too many people are afraid of competition. The result is that in some circles people have come to sneer at success if it costs hard work and training and sacrifice.- Knute Rockne

  • I hope that extra week's preparation for NC State pays off, it doesn't look like we did anything to get ready for this one.

  • We WON!.  Wasn't pretty, actually atrocious, but they found a way to win.  That's what good teams do, congratulations to ALL the players for making it happen.  Run d?  What happened?

  • We won ... Fancher wasn?t allowed to pass anymore after his best drive.  We never scored again.  The run blocking of the ol was poor.  Huff has his chance to bring in a better ol coach.  No push

ODU was stacked up to stop the run.
There were easy completions available in early downs if Huff had the gonads to take advantage.

This is the first game where Fancher looked like an average college QB, and he should've been trusted to throw for a good gain on first down

  • We win,  but man it was ugly, very poor at times, and tons of mistakes.   It's rare, but I feel worse about the team than I did before the victory.

  • What are the odds anyone will ask about playing it to lose in the presser?

    Probably slim to none.

If Dog Smock was still a member of the press gaggle, that question would be asked.
