That RB for ODU came into our game with only about 25 yards for the season. Just mind boggling.

Happy with the win. Proud of how Cam Fancher played his heart to bring us back. Not happy with the coaching staff. I thought Huff said it was a petal to the metal on offense when he came here. Two weeks in a row we go conservative and almost lose the game. Until Huff, I've never heard of a prevent offense.

True, we upset Xavier and the lost at Miami. I am sure there are other examples in MU's Athletic history.

The defense has gotten gashed by two long runs, so the offense has to bail them out for a change.

Defense - F

Special Teams - B+ - pooch kick out of bounds kept it from being an A

Coaching - C - This game had loss written all over it with penalties and TOs, but they found a way to win

Fancher bringing us back big guy. And Goran has hands of stone. If he had good hands he could be decent. But his hands are awful. Let's go Fancher!!!

How many people said Fancher could never bring us back down 2-3 scores? Heck he did it in about 1 quarter.

It's just like gambling.  Fade the public and ignore confident message board posters.

Grades for the game:

Offense/QB - B - Turnovers/penalties kept this from an A

Defense - F

Special Teams - B+ - pooch kick out of bounds kept it from being an A

Coaching - C - This game had loss written all over it with penalties and TOs, but they found a way to win

Fair grades.  I would give the defense a D.  They had a good game except for 3 plays that got busted for long runs and points.  I'm not sure whether all those long runs should be credited to the defense or coaching.  Getting those defensive play calls in late can be a killer.  The defensive coordinator has to get those play calls in faster.  The defense created some turnovers and made some key stops.

Everyone wants to refer to the "game after the game", like Notre Dame last season, followed by the one at Bowling Green.

Guys, sometimes it is the "little guy", the G5 or the FCS team, who is the "ShockER", instead of the "ShockEE'!  Otherwise, the guys in Vegas would soon be out of business!

I hope that extra week's preparation for NC State pays off, it doesn't look like we did anything to get ready for this one.

Lol you all still don't get why ODU was able to about beat us at home, having 1/5 the talent we do after barely beating a community college...
