  • JMU, Marshall, Ga Southern, and App are on top of the East standings.

Big game next Saturday Ga Southern at JMU.  Ga Southern has only scored below 35 points twice this season.  First was a 34-0 win over the Citadel.  I have to think Ga Southern got the second and third teams some valuable playing time in that one.  Second was a 35-14 loss to Wisconsin.

Coastal also plays at App State on Saturday.  Coastal has 2 conference losses but could be a problem for App State.

This Saturday could have big implications for the East division.

Ga State has Saturday off and 2 weeks to prepare for their home games vs Marshall.

  • Was surprised GSU and Grainger only put 7 up on Troy.  I watched their other games and he did a lot more with his feet than he could do vs Troy.  He was a non-factor but had been a standout QB till that point.
