    FWIW, more homes have access to CW than to ESPN.
    The complaints you have could possibly be the case with NBC, ABC or Fox, depending on the corp that owns the stations.

    No. I can stream those channels and games through smart TV. Doesn?t seem I can do that with CW channel for live sports.

    Who's your provider?
    What's probably the case is that whoever owns the local CW affiliate and your provider have not agreed to a price for carrying CW. There's a similar dispute here in Huntington with Comcast regarding ABC.
