  • Just putting this out there, Herd looking to extend 9 game win streak. Whodathunkit relative to the gripes about the team. I'll take that any day and look forward! GoHerd!

  • Get back to me when we have won 18 in a row like the 1998-2000 squads did at one point.

  • Have enjoyed my Herd and will be there tomorrow. It will come to an end at some point but for now I love the SBC and this schedule has been fun this year.

Not a single win in that span over a team with a winning record, the only one we played is the -1. Tomorrow is a different animal, a team with a winning record and a pulse. Can we get it done? I believe we stop the run and if we can pass it, yes we can.

  • James Madison had winning record.  You are mistaken.

Plus a bowl win and wins over programs that we rarely beat like VT and ECU, and good win over Appy.

We can only play who is on the schedule.

Great points and examples. Haven't beaten VT in most of our lifetimes along with ECU in Greenville. After bowling green last season this team could have flat out quit but they did become bowl eligible, qualifying for and winning the bowl. Zero control over opponents and their records but some just have that agenda they want to push. Must be miserable that one can't enjoy and celebrate what's happening.

Looks like 24 doesn't like Huff on a personal level

I've never met Huff but I certainly don't care for some things he's done and said

Having said that he's winning with a godawful offense, so let's enjoy that

Huff will be gone soon either way if he wins or starts losing lol

    Go Herd!

Why are you like this toward football but give Danny a break on everything? Huff has already beat ND and VT. Has Danny ever beat a big name school? You find ways to bring anything football down and then find excuses for basketball. I know you will say you are bringing a basketball discussion into a football post. But I think people would like to know why the huge difference?

I'm not derailing threads with your non-sense anymore, because Dan kicked you out of the cam, and you hate him. I'm done with it.

Stick to the topic at hand if you want to discuss, like, how you want to dispute the facts i posted, etc.

Sorry but you're mistaken. James madison isn't in that run everyone likes to post about, 9-1, "9 in a row", JMU was 11 games ago. The bowl win was a team that was 6-6 and finished 6-7, not a winning record. Ecu and vtech are both historically bad this season, and it's ok to be aware of that as a fan.

Maybe do a couple seconds research before reverting to your natural state of wanting to dispute everything i post.

Lol you're something. I am in Durham, I'm enjoying it! But I'm also not blind to the fact that we caught VTech at a great time, maybe worst team ever, and ECU in the same boat. You realize you can be happy and enjoy those wins but also realize that it is more because they suck than we are great, right?

I think we can beat NC State, but we have to play clean, Fancher has to be better to do it. We aren't gonna beat them with screen passes, and him having INTs, that's just a fact. I'd love to see Fancher develop into a Cato.

And No, i have no problems with Huff on a personal level. I've spoken to him on a few occasions, he is a good man, IMO. He is an upgrade from Doc. But I also don't believe he is going to win a conference title here.

The fact is, starting today, we are playing teams that are far better than any we have played in that 9-1 run. You can bleed green like I do, but be smart enough to be aware, that we are about to see the rubber meet the road. I think we start November at 5-3, or 4-4. I REALLY REALLY hope that this team proves me wrong in a month and we are playing for a title and I'll be there for nearly all of the games, yelling my butt off.

  • This is a very poorly timed post imo

I can just explain my being critical of Fancher as wanting us to win a championship again.  If you are satisfied with 2nd-4th place in the East then we are golden and we should party every day.

I felt like we literally had an access level Bowl defense last year and we had the wrong QB (Columbi) and a great opportunity was lost.

This year it was hard for me to watch our QB miss on 3rd down over and over and him driving down the field on the first play of the last 2 games and throw interceptions and against ODU Coombs was WIDE open in the end zone and he throws it 12 feet short.

Especially when we have a senior QB on the bench with film of him hitting 3rd and long over and over and him throwing walkoff TDs to win games.

But, I get it he's our QB and that is not going to change.  I support him.  I would like to win a championship because I know Huff will be gone this season.

So I'll set my expectations to 9-3 and third in the East,  no more arguing from me,
