Great game with an exciting finish that was probably good for us. Night and day difference in atmosphere from the crap C-USA offerings on lesser channels tonight.

The announcer incorrectly said it was Brandon Jacobs instead of Bradshaw who slid down at the 1 in the Super Bowl like the Coastal RB did at the end of the game. He also apparently forgot that Bradshaw's slide failed because he wound up in the end zone, lol.

Clark's seat is rapidly getting warm now. He might be coaching for his job the last half of the season.

Personally, I'm glad that we're rapidly approaching late October and November when we'll soon be "treated" to thrilling Tuesday-Wednesday night "MACtion" played out in refrigerator (freezer) weather from some directional Michigan school against Ball State, Kent, etc., etc., before shivering (but "mute") throngs of . . . . . . . . . . DOZENS of Fans!!!!

Can hardly "restrain" my "Enthusiasm"!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The days of cheap shotting the MAC and C-USA are done.

We are in a conference where JMU, App State, and such are our peers.  We're not necessarily above them or below them.  They and we are our own standard bearers.  Let's go forward with only a positive attitude about the Belt.

Still longing for those exciting trips to another Stadium in a cornfield somewhere out in Ohio, Indiana, etc., eh Coach?  Any true HERD Fan should be real glad that MU has been out of that group of conformists with NO ambitions to grow, improve, etc., athletically, over the same status quo level they've had for years, even decades!!

I wonder how long App State will tolerate Shawn Clark? They certainly are trending down since he took over the helm compared to the dominance they are used to. They are going to settle in to that mediocre zone which is a dangerous place to be. Scared to make a bad hire and become irrelevant or be stuck with 7-5 and  8-4 seasons.

App fans have to be crying about their season.  We missed out on a truly special season by not finishing off NC State, but look at App St 3 losses, overtime to a top 10 UNC on the road, blew a game at 1 loss Wyoming on the road late and then fumbling last night with a chance to win with a couple of minutes left.

Those are all hard to swallow.

The "we aren't above or below them" comment was directed toward our SBC peers.  I don't know why people keep bringing the MAC and CUSA comparisons up.  There is no comparison.

When the talk came up for realignment came up for Marshall i was hoping for the AAC, but i am extremely happy that we landed in the SBC!

Great league. This is where we belong. The teams beat up on each other. Every week is gonna be a war with no guarantee of victory. I was glad Coastal won. Looks like they got the better Trickett brother as an OC. Although having a 6th year, 4 year starter at QB helps a little bit. lol!

The conference is competitive, which is good and bad.  There are some exciting, meaningful games and good fan support.  On the other hand, the fact that conference schools seem to beat up on each other every year may be what keeps a conference school out of a New Year Day bowl.  I like the fact that there aren't one or two teams that dominate the conference every season.  I would probably feel differently if one of those dominate teams was Marshall.

Unlike CUSA 3.0, I'm actually interested in SB games that don't involve Marshall.
