My guess would be G-League instead of Europe.

Might be less money, but it's quicker to get a shot if a team in the NBA has some injury probems and needs to fill a space.

  • I hate this. Great son of Marshall and very few would have came back to Marshall all 5 years. He is a good and smart kid and will succeed in what ever he does in life.

  • From what I read although he was waived by the Jazz he was expected to be added to the roster for the G-League affiliate of the Jazz.

  • Just MO....but surely none of you thought he would make on an actual NBA team. He was good for MU while here.

Agreed. There is potential and flashes in his game but overall he was NEVER an nba player

  • Go with where you can make the most money. Then try the show with a few years experience after playing somewhere.

  • I don?t expect Kinsey to ever be a NBA regular, but he could make an NBA roster at some point. A lot of guys float on and off rosters during the year.

    Yep

He will have to improve dribbling, long range shooting and strength to be an NBA player imo

  • IMO, the quickest way for Kinsey to make the NBA would be as a 3 & D player.  That would mean he would need to get with a shooting coach and work on his 3-point shot.

  • Sorry to hear this, but if he was destined for the NBA he would have been there by age 19-20. It was nice when he was leaving, he said nice things about Huntington.

The problem with going overseas is that there is not a mechanism for a player to be called up to the NBA in season. If TK is likely to get a call up to fill the roster for an injured player, then staying with the G League makes sense.
The other issue is development. The Euro teams' sole objective is to win. G League's purpose is to supply a reservoir of roster spots and to develop talent.

I agree. He stuck around at Marshall when I know he could have left. He was a great representative for the school and program. He worked hard and was player of the year. He did a lot of good things for our team over the years but especially last season as a guy who could really play on both ends of the floor.
