  • It will be interesting to compare the stats from last season with this season's game.

4-1 Ga State has beat the spread in every FBS game this season except vs Troy.  Their FBS games have hit the Over only once this season.  Ga State remains favored by 1.

We are definitely in the portion of schedule that matters most.  We have to improve on last season's 5-3 conference record.  We finished 3rd in the SB East standings last season, Ga State finished 6th.  Ga State is improved and have already won as many games this season as they did all of last season.

This game will be a good test to measure which direction we are headed.

A loss against Georgia State is unacceptable

  • The good news is 167 of those passing yards went to Thrash who is tearing it up for Louisville now.

The bad news is they're a running team with a mobile QB and we suddenly can't stop that.

They've had 2 weeks to stew about an embarrassing loss while we're coming off 3 straight emotional tough games. It's a Saturday night Homecoming game for them on national TV. Might have all the ingredients of a really bad time for us.
