I usually don't pick against the Herd but this defense and its continuous lapses and big play giveaway is gonna catch up to us again this week.  I'm not confident in any area of the defense (D line, LB, or secondary).  Most of all, I think that the D coordinator (Semore) is in way over his head.  Really expected a lights out D with the return of Porter, Micah and some good gets through the portal.  We've regressed  immensely!

I've been fairly pessimistic since the Albany game but I think the Herd wins this one. I'm frustrated by the lack of a W against NC State (3-0 vs. P5 record would be great) but I don't think the team looked like hot garbage or anything. They basically went tit-for-tat and with a middle of the road P5 in a game that went down to the last drive. Fancher proved he can drive down field and score repeatedly, which I'm glad to finally see.

Agree. Those are the two keys. They have had a bye week and it is their homecoming. Gonna be a "tight fit" as Sonny used to say.

WE still have some significant, IMO, issues in our passing game.  But HOW OFTEN in recent memory has the HERD put up the likes of 41 points against a POWER FOE and LOST??  And ON THE ROAD at that!!!

Can't believe that GA State's Defense is as good, or better, than NC State's!!
