  • The Marshall-Georgia Southern game has been picked up by the NFLN. This will make our 6th linear conference controlled tv game this season. Not bad considering where we came from in CUSA.

    1 ESPN
    2 ESPN 2
    3 NFLN

  • Yet one more opportunity for an embarrassing performance in front of a national audience.
In memory of Dr Daniel P Babb who taught so much to so many.

  • I suspect all the media outlets love getting the Herd games on their channels; choices from the SBC.  We've always had a great TV audience for athletics at our level (whatever that is these days).

By the way, didn't know if it was announced on TV, but thanks to a couple thousand (I'm guessing) MU fans, Coastal set a new attendance record, just over 21,000 fans.

I've thought about that too LoL. Have we won a game yet on the NFLN?

It's pretty clear the media outlets like Marshall. I suppose we still have enough of a brand name to draw viewers and they know it. The SBC has been a great move for us. Exposure is one of the keys to knocking down the door to a playoff bid. The other is winning of course. One day we will be able to put it all together and watch the Herd in the CFP!

  • Not really a complaint, but I have ESPN+ to watch games and we are never on it so I have to go somewhere else to watch all the linear ESPN, NFL, and CW games from here on out.  I burned through all the free trials for all the streaming services, lol.  I've seen a lot of SBC ball though, on ESPN+.  Thought we'd be on +  more than not.

They really need to break from giant package deals and just put all their stuff on one streaming service.  I'd pay $20 a month for all the ESPN channels and not have to pay for 400 Latin channels i don't watch.  And that's the cost for ESPN+ and $10 from TV carriers.  That's what they get now.  I just don't want all the other stuff, so i dropped it all.

  • Huff keeps losing with his junior high caliber offense, HERD won't be the NFL Network "darling" for long.  Heck, we won't be wanted by the Facebook folks if our current level of play keeps up!!

  • Near mid-November game AT NIGHT!!  HERD's non-productive offense and losing streak continue on their current path, then look for about 4500 to 5000 fans in the stands, with an announced "crowd" in the 16,000 to 18,000 range!!!

MU Athletic Department may need to scrounge for a lot more tarps to cover all the additional empty aluminum bleachers posing as "fans in the stands"!!
