Great night all in all. A SB championship in a sport where 3 teams are in top 10, a minimum of four will likely be in NCAA, and a fifth team on a roll that knocked off the #1 and #2 teams in country in consecutive games (UK). All done with a major roster makeover and alot of key injuries. Tourney going to be quite a battle. Five teams have a legit chance to win it. I want us to win SB tourney after losing early last two years, but with some nagging injuries it wouldn't be worst thing for some guys to get rest.
Glad to see Duggin get some time. We really need him in postseason. Perotta was very good as stated and I also agree we mostly seemed in control in 2nd half. Garcia also seems to be coming around off the injury and a bigger threat each game. Silva getting back a little will help too. Our offense will be tough to shut out. The defense has to be more consistent imo.
- My opinion is the Synegaard foul was not red card worthy. Stupid for sure but not dangerous like a complete takedown like a horse collar and he was in no way the last defender. The WVU PK was an easy call. Just a dumb play by ODU. In end, it's better for SB as ODU win would have brought down leagues RPI. Two different national pubs had articles on UCF game in which they stated game was in Harrisonburg. It was in Orlando.
