  • And now the defense is getting gashed. That happens when you're on the field all day.

  • There's always a chance we could get good at baseball as well with the new stadium.

The football program is on life support. Marshall just can't compete with the type of money other schools toss around.

I'm not sure exactly how the players get paid, but we should have known once they did, we were f'ed.

Not true.  Banker has proven this was a myth with facts in another thread.  It's just an excuse.  We compete very well with our peers

  • Our defensive backs are giving the QB position a run for its money when it comes to being the most pathetic and inept position on this mediocre and embarrassing HERD Team!!

  • Players going out hurt now.  Sign of going through the motions or just plain quitting.

Wrong TV show.  He's more like Rerun from What's Happenin'

    Exactly

Huff has more resources than any previous coaching staff here, and we compare with our peers in the Belt and G5 (heck, we beat VPI and played well against against ACC school).

Huff could have OSUs budget and he would still lose, because he is not a good coach and has a piss poor staff. He was just lucky the DC the past couple of years has a drinking problem and was needing to rehabilitate.

Bad excuse that has zero relevance on this game.

  • I though Huff would throw Pennington in the game.  Huff hates Marshall.
I don't like to lose, and that isn't so much because it is just a football game, but because defeat means the failure to reach your objective. I don't want a football player who doesn't take defeat to heart, who laughs it off with the thought, 'Oh, well, there's another Saturday.' The trouble in American life today, in business as well as in sports, is that too many people are afraid of competition. The result is that in some circles people have come to sneer at success if it costs hard work and training and sacrifice.- Knute Rockne
