  • Something about a blind squirrel and a nut...
I don't like to lose, and that isn't so much because it is just a football game, but because defeat means the failure to reach your objective. I don't want a football player who doesn't take defeat to heart, who laughs it off with the thought, 'Oh, well, there's another Saturday.' The trouble in American life today, in business as well as in sports, is that too many people are afraid of competition. The result is that in some circles people have come to sneer at success if it costs hard work and training and sacrifice.- Knute Rockne

  • Is it wrong that I didn't even get excited when we scored a touchdown? The game, right now, is just background noise.

They were praising that single play, which to be fair, was well executed.

They weren't too full of praise on the 2 point try.

I'm still watching out of amazement of how bad our offense is.

  • To be fair, the announcers did talk about Fancher continuing to hold the ball too long in the failed 2 point conversion and noted we were open on that play.

  • The long TD drought is over!

All that means is that the politically correct segment of HERD Fans will be clamoring loudly for Spears to IMMEDIATELY sign Huff to a contract extension!!

  • For some of you that says you shouldn't stop going to games and quit supporting. Are you going to show up and cheer next year for the Huff and Fancher show? Money talks and that is how you get change.

  • That camera shot before the commercial break showed we had some arguing on our sideline on the bench.

  • I said before the game that Fancher would be good for at least two turnovers.  He got the fumble back and then threw the pick.  No shot for any MU receivers.

Well to be honest, the INT was probably not a bad deal.

  • Frankly I feel sorry for Fancher. He may be in over his head but he fights and tries and the O line lets him take a beating and some of the receivers seem to have hands of stone.

  • Every announcer has noted Fancher holds the ball too long and misses open receivers.  He makes the O-Line worse than it already is.
